Ministerial Meeting Emphasizes Securing Steady Fuel Supply

A ministerial meeting that brought together the Ministries of Energy and Justice has emphasized the need to secure a steady flow of fuel supplies at the highest level, at reasonable prices.
The stress was made during a ministerial meeting that included the Minister of Energy, Al-Mu’tasim Ibrahim Ahmed, the Minister of Justice, Dr. Abdullah Darf, members of the Fuel Import Follow-up Committee, and representatives of fuel import companies.
The meeting was held to discuss technical arrangements and guidelines for strengthening joint coordination in fuel imports during the current period, which is witnessing numerous challenges facing global oil markets.
The meeting reaffirmed that fuel is a strategic commodity that must be secured at the highest level, especially since fuel is the primary driver of the country’s economic and social development.
