Port Sudan – Sudanhorizon
The Sudanese Minister of Justice, Moawia Osman Mohamed Khair, announced that the amended constitutional document has been published in the official state gazette and on the website of the Ministry of Justice as of today (Sunday), confirming that it will be effective as of the date of publication.
The minister said in a television interview broadcast by Sudan TV that the most prominent amendments in the amended constitutional document for the year 2025 AD are the deletion of the phrase “Rapid Support” and the deletion of “Freedom and Change” from the text of the document wherever it appears.
Under the amended constitutional document, one member was added to the representatives of the armed forces, bringing their number to six, while the number of members of the Council of Ministers was increased to 26 members instead of 18 ministers, which will result in the restructuring of the state’s executive apparatus.
