Khartoum Health Ministry: 5 Dialysis Machines Donated by Qatar Red Crescent

The Khartoum State’s Ministry of Health has received five dialysis machines offered as a donation from the Qatar Red Crescent.

This donation, delivered on Sunday, is part of an integrated humanitarian intervention project aimed at supporting and improving health services in treatment facilities across the state.

The Sudan News Agency (SUNA) reported that this assistance comes within the framework of efforts to enhance the capacity of dialysis centers to provide regular services to patients, especially given the current health challenges and the need to improve the readiness of facilities to provide sustainable medical services.

Dr. Othman Al-Zubair, Director of the Kidney Centers Department at the Khartoum State Ministry of Health, confirmed that this contribution will directly help alleviate pressure on dialysis centers and expand the scope of services for patients in need.

He expressed his gratitude to the Qatar Red Crescent for its continued support for the health sector in the state.
