Riyadh – Sudanhorizon

The Strategic Cooperation and Coordination Council agreement between the Republic of Sudan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is scheduled to be signed on Monday in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, by the foreign ministers of the countries.

A diplomatic source told Sudanhorizon that the agreement comes within the framework of the two countries’ keenness to strengthen their political and economic relations and develop mechanisms for joint cooperation and coordination, which will contribute to expanding the areas of economic, trade, and investment partnership and support the common interests of the two brotherly peoples.

The Supreme Council for Strategic Cooperation and Coordination between Sudan and Saudi Arabia is a high-level institutional framework that was reconstituted by the Sudanese side at the beginning of this year. It aims to strengthen bilateral relations and joint cooperation between the two countries in various political, economic, investment, and security fields.
