Khartoum and Addis Ababa Discuss Ways to Resume Flights

Sudan’s Ambassador to Ethiopia and Permanent Representative to the African Union, Al-Zein Ibrahim Hussein, met with the Director General of the Ethiopian Civil Aviation Authority, Yohannes Abera, in Addis Ababa on Saturday to discuss ways to develop and regulate civil air transport between the two countries, in accordance with signed bilateral agreements. This aims to facilitate the movement of citizens and support trade exchange.
The Ambassador, along with representatives from Sudan’s national airlines, Badr and Tarco, reviewed the positive developments in Sudan, noting the return of state institutions to Khartoum and the reopening of Khartoum International Airport to domestic and international flights.
Both sides emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation between airlines in their respective countries, stressing the principle of reciprocity to achieve mutual interests.
