Joint Force Spokesperson Confirms El Fasher Under Control and the Militia Allies Weaker than They Appear to Be

Cairo – Sudanhorizon – Sabah Mousa

The spokesman for the Joint Force of the Armed Struggle Movements, Colonel Ahmed Hussein Mustafa, confirmed that the situation in El Fasher is under full control on all fronts. In an exclusive statement to Sudanhorizon, Mustafa said, “Our forces have complete control on the ground in El Fasher,” adding that the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia and their allies, after failing on the battlefield, resorted to the methods of the powerless—shelling the city with heavy artillery from outside.

He explained that the city of El Fasher, along with the Neivasha and Abu Shouk IDP camps, is currently under intense artillery bombardment from the militia, which has caused a large number of civilian deaths. He added that during the shelling there are attempts of infiltration by the militia, which are being dealt with by his forces.

The spokesman confirmed the participation of forces loyal to Abdelaziz Al-Hilu, Al-Tahir Hajar, and Al-Hadi Idris alongside the RSF militia in the attack on El Fasher. However, he stressed that this alliance “has not and will not be able to bring down the city.” He added that this confidence stems from the determination and will of El Fasher’s heroes, noting that the groups allied with the RSF are well known to them, describing them as “weaker than a spider’s web.” He emphasized that these groups joined only for personal gain, and by doing so, they share in the militia’s crimes.
