Interior Minister and Police Chief Conduct Important Inspection Visit to Central Reserve Forces

The Minister of Interior, Lieutenant General of Police (Legal) Babiker Samra, accompanied by the Director General of the Police Forces, First Lieutenant General of Police (Legal) Amir Abdel Moneim, conducted an important inspection visit on Thursday to the leadership of the Central Reserve Forces. During the visit, they reviewed the operational and administrative conditions and workflow of the forces, praising the significant role they have continued to play in supporting the Sudanese Armed Forces and other regular forces, as well as contributing to achieving security and stability in the country.

During the visit, the Interior Minister stressed the importance of the Central Reserve Forces at the current stage, considering them one of the key pillars supporting national security. He commended the major sacrifices made by their personnel across various fronts and operations, according to the Sudan News Agency (SUNA).

For his part, the Director General of the Police Forces praised the outstanding performance of the Central Reserve Forces and their active role in securing citizens and vital facilities, in addition to their participation in joint operations aimed at extending security, stability, and restoring reassurance among citizens.

The delegation also received a briefing from the leadership of the Central Reserve Forces regarding the overall situation, deployment and security plans, as well as ongoing efforts to support stability and strengthen security across different states.
