Port Sudan – Sudanhorizon

The Hay Al Arab Port Sudan team officially joined the list of teams relegated from the Premier League to the local league yesterday on Sunday, with a score of 8 points, following the rejection of the Appeals Committee of the General Football Association of Al-Hilal Al-Managil Club’s appeal against the decisions of the Competitions Committee that awarded its match points to the Police Club of Qadarif on behalf of the Eastern Group, which is led by Al-Mirghani Kassala with 12 points.

Hay Al Arab held on to the threads of waiting in the hope that Al-Hilal Al-Managil would win the appeal, and as a result, Police Qadarif would be relegated.

The elected Appeals Committee of the Sudanese Football Association held a meeting on Sunday in Port Sudan, headed by the Chairman of the Committee, Abdul Rahman Saleh, in which all members participated in attendance or via video conference technology, where the committee discussed the submitted appeals and considered the request for examination and review submitted by Al-Hilal Al-Managil Club against the decision of the Appeals Committee. After reviewing the documents, it decided to reject the request in form due to the appellant not providing new documents.
