Hamidti’s Concerns

By Rashed Abdel Rahim
Hamidti appeared yesterday in his recorded speech, as expected, in a clear state of agitation, tension, and anger. The Sudan flag on his right was hoisted upside down, as was the Rapid Support Forces logo on his left. The outfit he wore did not befit that of a leader of any kind; it was shabby and lacked military insignia on the chest and shoulder, and his head was covered with a disheveled turban that was not military in nature. His left hand displayed artificial and false nails.
The usual persistent concerns he reflects included Ali Karti, Ahmed Haroun, Osama Abdullah, Burhan, and Minawi. He remains trapped in the delusion that Shamalia (Northern Sudan) is the stronghold of the Islamists, threatening that any force coming for this would be entirely composed of ‘fighters.’
Today, his anxieties increased, and his tormented heart was filled with fear of Egypt, as he repeated previously citing remarks about Egyptian planes. He did not forget to mention Ukraine, which he said was deceived by the Sudanese army.
The speech was littered with threats and warnings, and there was a clear menace directed against Sudanese civilians. After mentioning Northern Sudan, he threatened the civilians in Al-Obeid, demanding that they stay within and inside their homes and shut down their businesses.
Despite his claim that a large mobilization had taken place for the ‘Hunter’s Movement’ and that the ISIS members had been included, he still unleashed pathetic expressions of affection and seduction toward the leader of the movement, Major Dermot, describing him as a hero and the son of heroes. His severe threat to the north and the Al Obied, alongside his flattering of Dermot, seems to be a mere attempt at deception with the real goal being an attack against Babnousa.
Important admissions were made in his confused speech, including acknowledging the initiation of the current war and the large scale of losses and the number of wounded incurred, he still dared to promise, saying (bear with us now and do not worry, we are going to create medical cities for you), making promises to the mothers of martyrs and their sisters and wives, while he was unable to provide them with compensation just as he failed to provide salaries for their sons who were in battles, forcing them instead to (loot people’s homes and public banks).
Today, he failed to fulfill his promises to mobilize fighters and to purchase chiefs and supervisors, as his resources dried up after his militias were expelled from the positions they occupied. It seems that the speech was a form of (moral guidance), heavily citing verses and hadiths, urging perseverance in fighting and reminding of previously imagined heroic feats, while highlighting the racist and regional aspects of the war. Each time Hamidti broadcast a recorded speech, the rebellion was defeated, and the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) advanced: this occurred prior to the liberation of Jabal Moya, Madani, Khartoum, the General Command, and the Presidential Palace.
Yesterday, the Eagles of the Air were present, highlighting Hamidti’s lies about the end of SAF Aireforce, as Nyala and several locations in Kordofan were bombed.
It seems that Hamidti has lost direction and purpose, as if he were marionette manipulated by several parties, and despite his continuous and ongoing losses and the death of many of his leaders and soldiers, he still continues to throw them into destruction.
