FM Affirms Support for National Teams, Praises Football Association’s Achievements

The Minister of Foreign affairs and International Cooperation, bMuhi Al-Din Salim, has received at his office a delegation from the Sudanese Football Association, led by its President, Dr. Mutasim Jaafar Sir Al-Khatim, and accompanied by Secretary-General, Attorney Magdi Shams Al-Din, and Advisor Al-Zein Al-Dukhairi, in the presence of Ambassador Al-Hadi Al-Siddiq.

During the meeting, Dr. Mutasim Jaafar expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the diplomatic efforts undertaken by Sudan’s missions and embassies abroad. He commended the significant role played by Sudanese embassies in hosting and supporting the national teams during the past period, emphasizing that this had a profound impact on representing Sudan honorably and raising the nation’s flag at international events.

For his part, the Foreign Minister praised the successes achieved by the Sudanese Football Association and the national teams in the previous period, affirming the state’s full support and continued backing for the association and the teams in representing Sudan in regional and international competitions.

The minister also stressed the government keenness to provide all the resources that would contribute to the continuation of these successes and keep Sudan’s name high.
