CBOS Directs Banks to Accept Expired IDs for Transactions

The Central Bank of Sudan issued a statement to operating banks stipulating that the original or copy of expired identity documents and the national number must be approved in all banking transactions.

The Central Bank excluded in the same press statement, issued on Tuesday, the approval of expired identity documents in granting bank financing, until further notice.
