Burhan Receives Congratulatory Cables from AUC Commissioner and From Chad President

The Chairman of the Transitional Sovereign Council, Lieutenant General Abdul Fattah al-Burhan, has received congratulatory cables on the occasion of Eid al-Adha from both the Commissioner of the African Union Commission, Mahmoud Ali Youssef, and from the Chadian President, Mahamat Idriss Déby.

The AUC Commissioner has expressed in his message his hope for the achievement of security, stability, and peace in the Sudan, and conveyed his sincere congratulations to the Chairman of the Sovereign Council, wishing for further development, growth, and prosperity for the Sudanese people.

The Commissioner has affirmed the African Union’s commitment to strengthen the bonds of brotherhood, solidarity, and joint cooperation with Sudan for the benefit of Africa, the Arab world, and Islam.

The Chairman of the Transitional Sovereign Council has meanwhile received a congratulatory message from Marshal Mahamat Idris Déby, the President of the Republic of Chad, ac a press release by the media of the Sovereign Council said.

It pointed out that president Deby has conveyed, on behalf of the Chadian people and government, and on his own behalf, his warmest congratulations and sincere wishes for health and wellness to the Chairman of the Sovereign Council and to the Sudanese people, expressing his best wishes for development and prosperity for Sudan, and blessings for the entire Islamic nation.
