Banks Union on Standby During Currency Replacement

The Sudanese Banks Union has reaffirmed that preparations have been completed to launch the one thousand and five hundred banknote currency replacement.
The President of the Union, Abas Abdallah Abas, said the banks are committed to facilitating the opening of bank accounts for the public and that all relevant bureaucratic procedures will be shortened and simplified.
He said the banks, in collaboration with the Central Bank of Sudan, will be on standby to receive all complaints and respond to queries from the public so as to resolve them instantly.
