Army Liberates New Areas in Blue Nile State
Damazin – Sudanhorizon
The armed forces, supported by allied troops, made a new battlefield advance on Monday in southeastern Blue Nile State, regaining full control of the areas of “Karn Karn” and “Dukan” after fierce military clashes with the Rapid Support Forces militia and Joseph Tuka’s forces.
The military operations resulted in heavy losses in lives and equipment for the hostile forces, in addition to the destruction and targeting of a number of their military positions and equipment.
In a statement issued through its media office, the command of the Fourth Infantry Division confirmed that its forces continue to advance steadily across the theater of operations to secure strategic areas and strengthen stability in the state, noting that the operations were carried out with high morale and strong determination to continue the advance until all planned military objectives are achieved.
This control comes as an extension of a series of battlefield successes achieved by the armed forces and allied troops across various fronts.
