The Al Hilal club management has begun gathering the players to return to the Mauritanian capital, Nouakchott, after the rest period granted by the technical staff to the players, which ended today, on Sunday, in preparation for the second period of the Mauritanian Premier League and the postponed matches of the first round according to the schedule issued by the Competitions Committee of the Mauritanian Football Federation in coordination with the administrative and technical bodies of Al Hilal.

The football director of Al Hilal team, Abdul Muhaimin Al-Amin, said that the first group of players will leave on Sunday for Nouakchott, accompanied by some members of the technical staff and a number of new national players, including the duo Ali Kabba and Musab Kardman, who joined the team in the last registrations, indicating that all members of the team will arrive in Mauritania successively according to the airlines coming from the countries in which they are located.

Abdul Muhaimin added, “The team is waiting for a stressful program in the Mauritanian League, which will be the best preparation for the quarter-finals of the African Champions League,” noting that the stumble that occurred in the last two matches in the group stage against Tanzanian Al-Shabab and Congolese Mazembe will have a positive reaction and that the rest that ends today was very important for the players to get rid of the boredom of the long camps and return with a new spirit for the next stage. In addition, Al-Hilal players will undergo an intensive training program in order to regain physical fitness before entering the atmosphere of the Mauritanian League, as Al-Hilal has five postponed matches from the first division that were transferred to the second division.
