Al Burhan: This War Targets Those Taking Up Arms against The State

The President of the Transitional Sovereign Council, Lt. General Abdul Fattah Al-Burhan, has confirmed that there are rumors and deception plotting targeting young people by the rebel militia to sow the seeds of discord and division between the Sudanese people.
Al Burhan added, “We are aware of these rumors that promote the targeting of specific tribes, and we confirm here that the war of dignity is directed against those who carried arms against the state and the honorable people, destroyed facilities, displaced citizens and looted their property.”
During his statement at the opening session of the Civil Service Conference on Tuesday at the premises of the Secretariat of the Government of the Red Sea State in Port Sudan, the President of the Sovereign Council pointed out that the presence of some members of this or that tribe in the ranks of the rebellion does not necessarily mean that the whole tribal groups are supporters of the rebellion.
He stressed that each individual is held accountable for what his hands have committed, and there is no generalization and targeting of any particular tribe or ethnic group, tribal or regional. What leads us are the compass of the homeland and the compass of eliminating the militias.
