Al-Burhan In Doha for the Emergency Arab-Islamic Summit

The Chairman of the Transitional Sovereign Council, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, arrived in the Qatari capital, Doha, on Monday, for participation in the emergency Arab-Islamic summit.

The summit, which will begin in a few hours, is attended by leaders of the member states of the Arab League, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, and international and regional organizations.

The summit will discuss the repercussions of the Israeli aggression on Qatar and the assassination attempt on members of the HAMAS negotiating team.

The Chairman of the Sovereign Council is accompanied during the visit by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Ambassador Mohieddin Salem, and the Director-General of the General Intelligence Service, Lieutenant General Ahmed Ibrahim Mufadal.

The Chairman of the Sovereign Council and members of his accompanying delegation are expected to hold bilateral talks on the sidelines of the summit meetings.
