Al-Burhan Congratulates Sudan National Team on Qualification for Arab Championship

The Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, made a phone call on Thursday to the technical staff of the Sudan national football team and the players, congratulating them on qualifying for the Arab Championship, which will be hosted by Qatar next December.

Al-Burhan praised the victory, commending the efforts of the team’s technical staff and players who performed excellently in the match.
He affirmed that this achievement adds to the series of victories achieved by the Sudanese people in the “Battle of Dignity.”

The Sovereignty Council chairman also highlighted the significant role played by Sudanese citizens residing in Qatar and their strong support for their national team.
He stated that this steadfast solidarity is the hallmark of Sudanese people everywhere, and he affirmed his sponsorship and support for the national team to help them achieve the aspirations of the Sudanese people.
