Al-Burhan Arrives in Egypt Today

Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, Chairman of Sudan’s Transitional Sovereignty Council, is scheduled to arrive in the Arab Republic of Egypt today (Thursday) on an official visit.

The Egyptian Presidency announced that President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi will receive the Chairman of the Sudanese Sovereignty Council today (Thursday) to discuss ways to resolve the Sudanese crisis and to strengthen and support the distinguished bilateral relations between the two countries across various fields.

Two days earlier, the Chairman of the Sovereignty Council visited the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, where he held brief talks with Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman. Their discussions touched on the Crown Prince’s initiative to achieve peace in Sudan, as well as ways to enhance bilateral relations between the two nations.
