Agar Commends Media Role and Calls for Communal Reconciliation

The Deputy Chairman of the Transitional Sovereign Council, Malik Aggar, has emphasized the need to adopt community reconciliations approaches to enhance national unity, societal cohesion, community building, inhibiting racial and tribal tensions, spreading a culture of peace.
He also stressed that it was imperative to work for uniting the national front to formulate plans and programs to rebuild what was destroyed by war.
During his meeting in his office in Port Sudan on Sunday with the National Support Platform group, in the presence of the Minister of Culture and Information Khalid Al-Iaysir, Aggar praised the role of the media and cultural platforms in supporting and aiding the Sudanese people in their ordeal and providing accurate information to the public to assist the executive agencies in carrying out their tasks.
For his part, the Minister of Culture and Information Khalid Al-Iaysir praised the efforts of the Deputy Chairman of the Sovereign Council in supporting media, thus contributing in the success of the ministry’s plans to serve the national line undertaken by state media institutions.
Dr. Mashahir Al-Badawi, President of the Atab National Support Platform, has meanwhile explained that honoring the Deputy Chairman of the Transitional Sovereign Council by the platform was due to his significant role in supporting the media and creating a favorable environment for journalists to support the armed forces and to overcome all obstacles and challenges they faced. It is worth mentioning that the Atab National Support Platform honored the Deputy Chairman of the Transitional Sovereign Council during the meeting for his role in supporting and assisting journalist and media work during this war.
