After Saudi FM Visit, Kamel Idris’ Official Visit to Saudi Arabia Rescheduled

Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah paid a visit to Prime Minister Kamel Idris at his residence, following the health issue that confined him to bed.

During the meeting, His Highness conveyed the greetings and best wishes of the Kingdom’s leadership, represented by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, to the Sudanese Prime Minister.

According to the Sudan News Agency, it was agreed to reschedule the anticipated official visit of the Prime Minister to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the near future.

The Prime Minister expressed his gratitude to Saudi Arabia—its King, Crown Prince, government, and people—for their continuous care, humanitarian support, and the efforts extended to assist Sudan and its people through the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center.

He also expressed his thanks to the Government of the Kingdom for the distinguished medical care he received at King Faisal Specialist Hospital following the temporary health setback that affected him.
