Kadugli – Sudanhorizon
The Sudanese Doctors Network has reported that eight civilians, including five children and three women, were killed on Tuesday when a Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia drone targeted the Al-Shartai Health Center in the Hajar Al-Nour neighborhood of Kadugli.
In a press statement issued Tuesday, the network stated that the attack also injured 11 others and caused significant damage to the health facility. The statement added that the drone also targeted the Kalba neighborhood, but no fatalities were reported there.
The network emphasized that targeting health facilities and their personnel constitutes a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law and all international conventions that guarantee the protection of civilians and medical facilities.
The statement held the RSF militia fully responsible for this crime, demanding an immediate halt to all attacks on health facilities and guarantees for the protection of medical personnel.
The network also called on the international community and human rights and humanitarian organizations to pressure the militia leadership to stop these violations, provide the necessary protection for hospitals, and ensure the unimpeded delivery of medical and humanitarian aid to those affected.
